The VP, Corporate Counsel will be responsible for advising on corporate governance issues, supporting regulatory filings, and maintaining regulatory relationships. They will also be involved in strategic transactions, including M&A, and will take the lead in legal due diligence and risk assessment. The position requires a strong background in corporate generalist legal matters and the ability to partner with senior leadership to provide business-oriented legal guidance. Applicants for the VP, Corporate Counsel position at the company should hold a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and have an active bar membership in good standing. A minimum of 5-15 years' of relevant legal experience is required, with a strong background in corporate governance, contracts, regulatory, transactions, and operational matters.
