Vice President of Finance & HR Remote (anywhere in United States)

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance & HR to lead financial operations and support organizational growth. Responsibilities include owning financial reporting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial models; managing and mentoring finance and HR staff; and partnering with executive leadership on fundraising, investor reporting, and board materials. The role also develops financial analyses for commercial partnerships, advises on cash management and budget allocation, and oversees internal controls. Additional duties include HR financial planning, compensation and benefits budgeting, headcount planning, payroll oversight, and employment tax compliance. Candidates should have at least eight years of progressive finance experience, including senior finance leadership, ideally in a venture-backed startup, and experience with virtual healthcare or technology-enabled services. Required qualifications include a strong record of building financial models and projections, managing or mentoring finance staff, and supporting fundraising and investor diligence. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, along with experience using QuickBooks or a similar accounting system, are required; ERP migration experience is a plus. Candidates should communicate financial insights clearly, exercise sound judgment with sensitive information, and be authorized to work and based in the United States.
