Vice President of Operations Remote (anywhere in United States)

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Operations to lead and transform its healthcare cost-containment organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of approximately 25 employees and must have a deep understanding of the federal No Surprises Act, open negotiation, and Independent Dispute Resolution. Key responsibilities include managing the team involved in negotiating NSA disputes, owning end-to-end IDR operational performance, leading the negotiation and resolution of appeals, and overseeing various operational units such as Provider Data Management and Client Services. The role demands a seasoned executive with a proven track record in building and scaling operations, leading managers through change, and delivering measurable outcomes. Applicants for the VP of Operations role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' progressive healthcare operations experience, with a focus on complex, multi-team operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in out-of-network claims and repricing, as well as experience with health plans, third-party administrators, and related payer services. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree being desirable. The role also requires a candidate with excellent communication, judgment, and decision-making skills, and a demonstrated ability to implement AI-assisted operational processes. The VP will be expected to establish and maintain rigorous management controls, build scalable, technology-enabled workflows, and support the organization's growth and acquisition readiness.
