Executive Director, Hospital Pharmacy Services

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Hospital Pharmacy Services to provide strategic leadership across pharmacy operations in diverse healthcare settings. The role includes developing system-wide strategies, standardizing workflows, and advancing automation and technology modernization. The executive will oversee medication distribution infrastructure, inventory and supply chain processes, financial performance, and cost controls while promoting safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities also include emergency preparedness, workforce planning, talent development, and adopting innovative practices through benchmarking. Candidates must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and have at least five years of pharmacy experience in a health system or similar setting. They must also have five years of progressive leadership experience, or an ASHP HSPAL residency plus four years of leadership experience, and obtain pharmacist licensure within 60 days of hire. Expertise in pharmacy automation, robotics, and AI-enabled solutions, along with strong operational improvement and change leadership skills, is required. Candidates should understand regulatory and accreditation requirements for medication-use systems; an advanced 340B operations certificate is preferred.
