The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of warehouse workflow and the driver fleet, with a focus on recruiting, safety and compliance, training, and departmental management. This role requires a hands-on approach to counseling staff, achieving corporate goals, and ensuring profitability. The VP of Operations will also be involved in problem-solving, interacting with customers and vendors, and establishing procedures to maximize operational efficiency. Applicants must have a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 6-10 years in food service operations or a related area, including supervisory experience. A Bachelor's degree in business management, operations, or a related field is preferred, along with an MBA and 10 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food distribution industry, be adept at managing inventory, and have a proven track record of improving operational strategies and processes. The role demands a leader who can make effective decisions, manage budgets, and ensure the department operates within set guidelines.
