Associate Vice President, Actuarial & Pricing Analytics

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Actuarial and Pricing Analytics. The successful candidate will be a key leader in the department, responsible for establishing and upholding the vision and direction of the actuarial and pricing analytics function. This role involves representing the company in various business settings, including interactions with external parties such as regulators and industry groups. The AVP will also be tasked with developing new business processes, ensuring the work product supports business growth and profitability, and advising senior and executive leadership on enterprise-wide actuarial and pricing analytics strategy. Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with advanced degrees preferred, and a minimum of 10 years of related experience. The role requires a strong background in actuarial and pricing analytics, commercial lines of business, and experience in managing complex projects and resources. The ideal candidate will have an ACAS certification, with FCAS, CSPA, or data science certifications being a plus. Key skills include strong communication, interpersonal skills, and proven leadership ability, as well as the capacity to mentor and train actuarial staff and to drive the strategic vision of the department. The AVP will also be responsible for managing a team of professionals, instilling a culture of excellence, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
