Head of Trade Finance

The Company is in search of a Head of Trade Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively identifying and pursuing new trade finance business opportunities, attending various events to build relationships, and responding to all trade finance-related enquiries with professionalism and technical expertise. This role also involves effectively liaising with customers on transaction issues, completing credit line reviews, and authorizing all trade finance transactions. The Head of Trade Finance will be expected to provide quality customer service, coach team members, and lead the team in meeting performance objectives. Applicants for the Head of Trade Finance position at the company must have a thorough knowledge of ICC rules governing various trade finance instruments, be confident in dealing with technical matters and difficult customer interactions, and have experience in managing credit limits and analyzing financial reports. A good understanding of AML regulations and experience in customer due diligence checks is also required. The ideal candidate will be a fully competent Head of Trade Finance with a proven track record in business development, and will be expected to lead, motivate, and develop their team, as well as support the recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
