Chief Legal Officer

The Company is seeking a Chief Legal Officer to lead its legal function and provide strategic legal guidance to the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading the corporate legal strategy, ensuring the company's legal matters are effectively managed and protected. This includes the ability to analyze legal implications, advise internal stakeholders, and maintain corporate interactions with government bodies and the community. The role also involves identifying and mitigating legal risks, overseeing litigation, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Candidates for the Chief Legal Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, with a minimum of 20-25 years' of relevant experience, including at least 5 years' with a reputable law firm. A strong background in Indian labor laws, corporate law, and experience with FSSAI, drug adulteration laws, and IPR and trademarks is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in legal leadership, including experience as a Legal Head in a listed public limited company. The role requires the ability to create and implement legal strategies, manage legal risks, and ensure the integrity of the business. Hands-on experience in domestic business and the capacity to work in an unstructured setup while establishing and maintaining legal systems is essential.
