Head of People & Talent Operations

The Company is seeking a Head of People and Talent Operations to take on a pivotal role as the first dedicated people hire. This hands-on position involves owning the function end-to-end, from talent acquisition to day-to-day people operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and addressing hiring challenges, leading the redesign of the employee handbook and onboarding program, and driving automation and efficiency in people processes. Key experience includes a background in a lean, high-performance environment, demonstrated experience in both talent acquisition and people operations, and a strong analytical, data-driven approach. The role also requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for candidates who are AI-curious and have a drive for automation. The ideal candidate for this role at the company will have a background in investment management, top-tier consulting, professional services, PE/VC-backed business, or high-growth tech. They should be comfortable with tools such as Notion and have experience with HRIS platforms. The role is not for those seeking a large team or minimal check-ins, as it involves close collaboration with the founding partnership and a high level of accountability. The Head of People and Talent Operations will be expected to work with rigor, justification, and data behind decisions, and will have the opportunity to significantly influence the function's shape.
