Managing Director, Luxury Hospitality and Conservation

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for a luxury hospitality and conservation business. This role is a rare opportunity for a seasoned executive to take full ownership of a high-profile, multi-site operation that is deeply rooted in the principles of luxury tourism, conservation, and community impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the country strategy, operations, and full P&L performance, driving growth, profitability, and product excellence. Key duties include overseeing multi-site lodge operations, guest experience, and brand standards, as well as building and leading a high-performing senior leadership team and strengthening stakeholder relations across communities, partners, and at the board level. Applicants must have a postgraduate degree in business, commerce, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' experience, and at least 15 years in senior leadership roles. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record as a Managing Director or in an executive-level position with full P&L ownership, and strong commercial, financial, and strategic planning expertise. A background in hospitality, tourism, or service-led environments, particularly in multi-site operations, is essential. Experience in Africa or emerging markets is highly advantageous. The ideal candidate will be adept at high-level stakeholder engagement, including with the board and group leadership, and will be passionate about working in a purpose-driven environment that combines luxury, sustainability, and impact.
