Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

The Company is in search of a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join their executive team. The CMO will be responsible for leading the full scope of the marketing organization, with a focus on defining and scaling the marketing strategy for a high-growth, purpose-driven brand. This role requires a visionary and performance-driven leader with deep expertise in brand, digital, social, paid media, partnership marketing, and retail and wholesale channel development. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building loyal communities and driving meaningful revenue growth in the direct-to-consumer and CPG space. The CMO will work closely with the CEO, translating the brand's vision into scalable marketing strategies and content programs, and will be a trusted extension of the CEO's leadership. Applicants for the CMO position at the company should have at least 15 years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a senior marketing role. The role demands a leader who can operate with a high degree of trust, alignment, and shared ownership of the brand's vision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the health and wellness, supplement, beauty, or CPG/DTC industry, and a deep understanding of the clean-label consumer. Key qualifications include a proven ability to build and scale a full-stack marketing organization, direct experience in retail and wholesale marketing, and a strong command of performance marketing metrics. The CMO will also be responsible for leading digital marketing, social media strategy, and paid media campaigns, as well as overseeing brand partnerships and event marketing. A data-driven decision-maker with exceptional leadership and team-building skills, the CMO will be expected to influence at the board and CEO level and inspire the team with their executive presence and communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred.
