Chief Accounting Officer (CAO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) to lead and oversee all accounting functions, ensuring they align with the overall business strategy and contribute to operational excellence. The successful candidate will be a key member of the management team, responsible for managing large-scale projects and budgets, and will work closely with the executive team, including the CFO, in high-level negotiations. The CAO will also be tasked with mitigating financial and operational risks, leading process improvements, and supervising the development of talent within the accounting team. Applicants for the CAO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, a CPA certification, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in leadership roles. The role requires a proven track record in supervising accounting operations, financial reporting, and budgeting processes, as well as expertise in regulatory compliance, internal controls, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in GAAP, the ability to lead and mentor a financial team, and be adept at driving accounting process transformation and automation. Strong technical and analytical skills are essential, as is proficiency in English. The CAO will be expected to ensure the organization has best-in-class accounting processes, prepare financial presentations, and ensure compliance with tax and local regulations.
