Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of empowering service members, veterans, and their spouses to succeed in the civilian workforce. The CEO will be a strategic and charismatic leader, responsible for setting and driving the organization's strategy, managing a national team, and serving as the public face of the organization. This role requires a minimum of 5 years' of executive leadership experience, with a proven track record in organizational management, financial stewardship, and fundraising. The successful candidate will be deeply aligned with the company's core values and have a strong appreciation for the military veteran community. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Board of Directors, overseeing day-to-day operations, and fostering a culture of integrity, effectiveness, commitment, excellence, and inclusion. The ideal CEO for the company will have exceptional communication skills, the ability to connect with a wide range of audiences, and a strong outcomes orientation. They will be expected to lead efforts in diversifying funding, building strategic partnerships, and enhancing the organization's brand awareness. Experience in generating revenue from various sources, including individual gifts and corporate partnerships, is essential. The role also involves leading a geographically dispersed team, so experience in a hybrid work environment and a willingness to travel are necessary.
