Dean of the L.S. Skaggs College of Pharmacy & Health Professions

The Company is seeking a Dean for its College of Pharmacy and Health Professions. The successful candidate will be a visionary and collaborative leader with a strong commitment to advancing health professions education, research, and practice. As the chief executive and academic officer, the Dean will provide strategic leadership and oversight of all operations, academic programs, clinical services, research initiatives, and stakeholder engagement. This role involves supervising a large staff and overseeing a comprehensive portfolio of health professions programs, including pharmacy, biomedical sciences, clinical psychopharmacology, and various health-related disciplines. The Dean will be responsible for the College's expansion and must have a doctoral degree in pharmacy or a related discipline, be eligible for pharmacist licensure in Idaho, and have a minimum of five years of progressive, strategic operational leadership experience in an academic setting. Candidates for the Dean position at the company's College of Pharmacy and Health Professions must have a proven track record in responsible budget management, be familiar with specialized health professions accreditation standards, and demonstrate sustained scholarship and effective teaching. The role requires a leader who can inspire and manage a large and diverse academic community, and who is prepared to engage in the strategic growth and development of the College.
