Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to play a pivotal role in the professionalization and growth of the organization. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Executive Board, responsible for the daily operations across the company's four core technical disciplines. This includes ensuring that the operational capabilities align with commercial ambitions, managing HR and operational facilities strategically, and leading the development of a robust operational blueprint. The COO will be instrumental in introducing and safeguarding structured project management methodologies, leading continuous improvement of operational processes, and establishing a strong project governance model. The role is not about management in the traditional sense but is focused on building, improving, and accelerating the company's operational performance. We are looking for an experienced COO with a strong technical background in a related industry, a proven track record in operational leadership, and a deep understanding of the dynamics of a private equity context. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation, extensive experience in leading professionalization and transformation projects, and the ability to work in an environment where growth, scalability, and predictability are paramount. As a leader, the COO should be ambitious, entrepreneurial, hands-on, and people-oriented, with the ability to balance professionalization with the values of a family culture. The role requires a clear and persuasive communicator, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders, and a decisive individual who can make tough decisions when necessary. Native-level proficiency in the Dutch language and a clear connection to the Southwest Netherlands region are essential.
