Interim Vice President, IT Cross-Functional Audit

The Company is in need of an IT Cross-Function Auditor VP to lead IT audit engagements across the EMEA region, providing independent assurance over the technology control environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full audit process, including planning, execution, and reporting. This role requires a deep assessment of IT governance, infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity controls, as well as the identification of control weaknesses and the provision of practical recommendations. The VP will also be tasked with preparing and presenting audit findings to senior stakeholders, overseeing and supporting junior team members, and monitoring the implementation of audit recommendations. Applicants for the IT Cross-Function Auditor VP position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of IT audit experience within banking or financial services. A strong knowledge of IT governance, ITGCs, cybersecurity, and technology risk is essential, as is an understanding of regulatory requirements such as DORA and GDPR. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in leading end-to-end IT audit engagements, excellent stakeholder management, and communication skills. Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC are highly desirable. The position is a 6-month contract with a hybrid work model and is suited to a professional who can work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
