Vice President, Technology Architecture & Cloud Services Greater Taipei, Taiwan Area

The Company is seeking a VP, Technology Architecture & Cloud Services to serve as the Taiwan architecture lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that local, regional, and global technology solutions align with the company's architecture standards and Taiwan's regulatory requirements. This role involves leading application architecture reviews, conducting external hosting committee reviews for cloud and outsourcing initiatives, and partnering with various teams to design and implement strategic technology solutions. The VP will also support the CIO on future state architecture, technology roadmap, and governance, and drive initiatives related to application evergreen, legacy system demise, and technical resilience. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years' of experience in enterprise/application architecture, cloud technologies, and solution design. Strong knowledge of Taiwan's technology regulations, cloud governance, outsourcing regulations, and information security is essential. The role requires experience in application architecture, legacy modernization, infrastructure upgrades, and technology resilience, as well as familiarity with enterprise platforms, distributed systems, and cloud platforms. Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are a must, with proficiency in both English and Traditional Chinese. While not mandatory, professional certifications in relevant areas are preferred. Knowledge of AI architecture and governance is considered an advantage.
