Vice President of Cybersecurity Greater Taipei, Taiwan Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Cybersecurity to lead the function in Taiwan. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting the organization's information assets and technology environment by managing cyber risks, ensuring compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements, and enhancing the organization's cyber resilience. This role involves leading and coordinating cybersecurity operations, incident response, and threat management, as well as providing expertise and guidance for technology initiatives and emerging security risks. The VP will also drive security governance across various controls, manage stakeholder engagement, and oversee security monitoring, risk assessment, and vulnerability management activities. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant discipline, with at least 9 years' of experience in cybersecurity, including management and operational security. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management, security operations, and regulatory compliance is essential, and experience with financial institutions and Taiwan regulatory requirements is preferred. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, ISO 27001, SSCP, or CND are also preferred. The role requires strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to engage with senior management and regulators. Knowledge of cryptography, PKI, digital certificate management, Hardware Security Modules (HSM), DLP, and information protection is an advantage. Fluency in both English and Traditional Chinese is a must.
