Chief Operating Officer (COO), Restaurant Group

The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) for its restaurant group in East Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and driving the operational excellence, growth, and innovation of multi-branch restaurant operations across Uganda and Kenya. This pivotal role demands a visionary hospitality leader with a proven track record in managing large-scale, multi-location restaurant operations, and a passion for enhancing customer experiences and leveraging technology to shape the future of dining. The ideal COO will have over 15 years' of hospitality experience, with at least 10 years in senior leadership, and a strong background in commercial, operational, and people leadership. Key responsibilities include developing and empowering senior leadership teams, establishing KPIs, performance systems, and operational standards, and leading expansion strategies. The role also requires a candidate with a deep understanding of brand culture, service quality, and guest loyalty, as well as the ability to scale operations across different markets and cultures. A willingness to travel across East Africa is essential for this position.
