About the Role
Greater Abuja, Nigeria Area (Hybrid)(Abuja, Nigeria)
The Company is seeking an Executive Vice President for Evidence, a pivotal role that will lead the strategic growth and transformation of the organization's monitoring, learning, and evaluation teams, cost-effectiveness arm, and epidemiology capability. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the company's data-driven approach, ensuring that evidence and cost-effectiveness remain central to its operations. This leadership position demands a rigorous technical background, with a PhD or equivalent quantitative expertise, and a proven track record of technical leadership and management in low- and middle-income country contexts. The EVP will be responsible for maintaining the reliability of the evidence that informs program design, delivery, and scaling, and will be expected to champion a transparent, evidence-first culture both internally and externally. Applicants for the EVP role at the company should be prepared to take on the challenge of leading a multi-disciplinary function through significant change, with a focus on institutionalizing monitoring and learning practices. The role requires a leader with the courage to act on evidence, a strong grounding in program implementation, and the ability to provide evidence-based recommendations that drive real impact. The ideal candidate will have a background in cost-effectiveness or health economics, and the judgment to bring in the right experts when necessary.
