Chief Development Officer (CDO), Dedman School of Law

The Company is seeking a Chief Development Officer for the Dedman School of Law. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategic planning and implementation of all fundraising activities to support the school's mission and goals. This includes identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major gifts, as well as overseeing the management of donor relations and stewardship. The Chief Development Officer will work closely with the school's leadership, faculty, and alumni to create and maintain a robust fundraising program. Applicants for the Chief Development Officer position at the Dedman School of Law should have a proven track record in fundraising, preferably in an academic or nonprofit setting. A deep understanding of the legal education landscape and the ability to articulate the value and impact of the school's programs is essential. The role requires a dynamic and strategic leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging a diverse range of stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' experience in development, with a focus on major gifts and capital campaigns.
