Vice President of Fund Accounting

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Fund Accounting to join its expanding team. The successful candidate will be part of a leading global investment firm with a strong presence in Dublin and a focus on hedge fund and asset management. This role is pivotal in the build-out of the investment support infrastructure, offering the opportunity to work with a sophisticated operating model and complex investment strategies. The VP will be responsible for the month-end close, fund accounting across various structures, financial reporting, audit coordination, and will be heavily involved in stakeholder management. The role also includes a significant focus on systems and projects, with an emphasis on driving process improvements and efficiencies. Applicants should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in fund accounting or financial reporting, with a background in Big 4, fund administration, or asset management. A strong understanding of NAVs, financial statements, and reconciliations is essential, as is experience with hedge funds or complex investment structures. The role requires a candidate with strong Excel and systems skills, and experience with Geneva is beneficial. The ideal candidate will be keen to progress into a more commercially exposed role and will have a proven track record in team oversight and mentoring. The position offers the chance to work closely with global teams and to be involved in projects related to systems, controls, and the scaling of the Dublin office.
