Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join their senior leadership team. The CNO will be responsible for the oversight and establishment of best practices and standards for clinical services, managing nursing teams to ensure the highest quality of patient care, and coordinating nursing with other patient care and support functions. This role involves providing leadership in the development of clinical excellence through staff development and has a direct impact on the delivery of healthcare. The CNO will also be involved in the management of various departments, including education, nursing, clinical dietetics, dialysis, and respiratory. Applicants for the CNO position at the company must have a BSN, with an MSN or equivalent Masters in Healthcare preferred. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of hospital nursing experience in acute care and 2 years in a management role. ICU clinical experience or inpatient hospital rehab experience of at least 1 year is also preferred. The successful candidate will be a certified BLS provider, with ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire. The CNO will lead a team of 8 direct reports, including nurse managers, supervisors, educators, and other nursing and clinical staff, and will be instrumental in steering the organization towards progressive clinical excellence.
