Head of Investment (Registered Valuer, Corporate Real Estate)

The Company is seeking a Head of Investment with a strong background in real estate to lead its investment business. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities, expanding the investment portfolio, and providing strategic counsel to stakeholders. This role involves the development and execution of investment strategies, management of client relationships, and leading the investment department to meet business objectives. The Head of Investment will also be tasked with business growth, including the implementation of overall business strategy, leading the investment business through development initiatives, and establishing annual business plans and performance targets. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree or MBA being an added advantage. A Registered Valuer certification is mandatory. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' of experience in real estate investment and a minimum of 5 years' in a senior management role. Deep knowledge of the Malaysian property market, investment analysis, and valuation principles is essential. The role requires proficiency in financial modeling, and investment appraisal, and a strong understanding of capital markets and corporate finance. The Head of Investment should also possess advanced negotiation skills, a sharp business acumen, and a proven track record in managing high-value investment transactions. Extensive business development and professional networking capabilities are crucial, as is the ability to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and professional standards.
