Head of Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to play a pivotal role in building and scaling the finance function from the ground up. This standalone position, with full decision-making authority, involves taking ownership of the finance operations, including the full quote-to-cash cycle, driving automation and process improvements, managing internal controls and compliance, and overseeing financial reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the finance function, from cash management to tax compliance, and will have the opportunity to lead fundraising rounds and manage customer-facing financial diligence. The role demands a hands-on approach, with a focus on building a best-in-class accounting system and a team in line with the company's future growth strategic plan. To be successful in this role, candidates must be ambitious, career-driven, and a self-starter with at least 6 years' of finance experience, including a minimum of 2 years' in a leadership role within a high-growth B2B/Consultancy or SaaS startup. A strong background in complex quote-to-cash structures, proficiency in US GAAP, and familiarity with IFRS and/or UK GAAP are essential. The ideal candidate will be AI-native, with experience in using AI finance tools, and have a proven track record in designing and implementing accounting processes. The role requires a professional with an accounting certification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CPA), ideally from a Big 4 Accounting Practice, and the ability to manage a wide range of financial activities, from AP and AR to payroll accounting and cash management.
