Head of Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to oversee and lead the financial operations of the business. This pivotal role involves hands-on leadership, driving financial control, and partnering with senior leadership to support commercial decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small finance team, maintaining strong financial controls, and managing core accounting activities. Additionally, the Head of Finance will be tasked with overseeing monthly management accounts, KPIs, and variance analysis, as well as managing cash flow and supporting working capital and capital planning. Applicants for the Head of Finance position at the company should be qualified accountants with significant post-qualified experience and a proven track record in a senior finance leadership role. The role requires a proactive individual with strong management accounting, financial control, and governance experience, particularly within a multi-site or high-volume transactional business. The ideal candidate will have a background in leisure, media, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing environment, and possess strong commercial acumen with the ability to provide meaningful financial insight. Confidence in partnering with senior stakeholders, a proactive approach, and strong Excel and finance systems experience are also essential for this role.
