Head of Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance with a strong commercial focus to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all core finance activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning. This role is pivotal in driving financial and operational excellence, and the Head of Finance will be expected to partner with operational and commercial teams to improve profitability and performance. Key responsibilities also include enhancing financial controls, processes, and governance, as well as leading a high-performing finance team and supporting strategic initiatives such as growth projects, capital expenditure, and potential M&A activity. Applicants for the Head of Finance position at the company should be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified and have a proven track record in finance leadership within private equity-backed manufacturing, industrial, or engineering businesses. A strong understanding of financial controls, reporting, and forecasting is essential, as is experience in influencing decision-making and a commercial mindset that can translate data into actionable insights. The role requires a hands-on, ambitious individual who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and is adept at driving continuous improvement across reporting, systems, and working capital management. Experience in a high-growth, private equity-backed, or complex environment is advantageous.
