Head of Operations

The Company is seeking a Head of Operations to oversee and enhance the performance of its national restaurant estate. This senior role is pivotal in leading a team of experienced Area and Operations Managers, ensuring that the restaurants maintain high standards in people management, sales, and profitability. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving change within the business, bringing energy, clarity, and consistency to operations. Key responsibilities include leading and developing the management team, taking ownership of operational performance, driving sales and profitability, and improving the overall guest experience. The role also involves close collaboration with various internal teams and supporting new initiatives and changes across the estate. The ideal candidate for the Head of Operations position at the company will have a background as a senior multi-site restaurant professional, with a strong track record in leading Area and Operations Managers. They must be commercially astute, particularly in managing restaurant P&Ls, and be adept at understanding and improving individual site performance. A strong people leader, the Head of Operations should be visible, straightforward, and focused on operational excellence. The role requires a hands-on approach, spending significant time in the restaurants, and a commitment to coaching, challenging, and developing the team to ensure the company's standards are met and exceeded.
