Interim Senior Head of Finance

The Company is seeking an experienced Senior Head of Finance to join their team on an interim basis. This senior, hands-on role is pivotal in providing strong financial leadership, ensuring robust financial control, and delivering high-quality reporting, forecasting, and commercial insight. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the day-to-day finance function, owning the monthly management accounts and financial reporting process, and leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Additionally, the role involves managing cash flow, working capital, and financial performance, as well as supporting the CFO and senior leadership team with strategic and commercial decision-making. Applicants for the Senior Head of Finance position at the company should be confident, commercially minded, and able to quickly establish credibility in an interim environment. The ideal candidate will have an ACA qualification from a leading accountancy practice, significant experience in a senior finance leadership role, and a background in a private equity-backed business. Professional services experience is highly desirable. The role requires a candidate with strong technical accounting and financial control knowledge, excellent budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting experience, and a proven track record in preparing information for CFOs, boards, and PE investors. Excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, and a hands-on, pragmatic approach are essential, as is the ability to operate effectively in a changing environment and drive improvements within the finance function.
