The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer with a background in the manufacturing industry to join their client accounting and advisory services practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing CFO functions as part of the client's accounting services team, driving the implementation of best practices, and actively participating in the client's financial policy and overall strategy. This role involves capital planning, risk management, KPI analysis, and leading financial administration, planning, and budgeting. The CFO will also be accountable for ensuring the financial staff maintains record systems, managing cash flow and forecasting, and coordinating audit activities. Building strong client relationships and becoming a key member of the client management team is essential, as is the development of a key external business network and thought leadership in the industry. Applicants for the Chief Financial Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' of relevant accounting and/or financial experience, with a strong preference for those with a background in the manufacturing industry. A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required, and a CPA certification is preferred. The role demands a candidate who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, skilled in multitasking, and has a proven track record in project and client management. The CFO will be expected to travel to client sites, with a focus on local travel and occasional non-local or overnight trips. The company values collaboration and career growth, and while the position is primarily in-office, it may involve frequent local travel to and from client sites.
