Managing Director, F&B Operations & Production

The Company is seeking an experienced Managing Director for its F&B Operations and Production. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operational areas, including production, kitchen, logistics, and service execution. This role demands the highest standards of quality, food safety, and hygiene, as well as the continuous development of production processes and the smooth implementation of event formats. The Managing Director will also be involved in personnel management, proactive development of company culture, and the optimization of processes, capacities, and systems, with a focus on digitalization and automation projects. Applicants should have a solid background in the food and beverage sector, with a preference for those from the chain restaurant or catering/event industry. A qualification as a chef with relevant professional development is highly valued. The role requires several years of management experience in an operational leadership position, sound expertise in production, process, and quality management, and a strong understanding of hygiene and food safety standards. Experience in managing capacities, inventory, and logistics in a demanding environment, as well as high digital affinity and experience with modern ERP and planning systems, are essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a hands-on mentality, and the ability to effectively collaborate in a co-management role. Good German and English language skills are also necessary.
