Chief Investment Officer (CIO)

The Company is in search of a Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to spearhead the development and execution of its investment function. This senior leadership role is pivotal in shaping the company's investment strategy, asset allocation, and portfolio performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the investment portfolio, including the deployment of capital, liquidity management, and the balance of risk and return across various asset classes. Key responsibilities for the CIO include building and managing a diversified portfolio, determining strategic and tactical allocations, overseeing liquidity and cash management, and ensuring that the investment strategy aligns with the company's financial and strategic objectives. Applicants for the CIO position at the company should possess significant senior-level investment experience within an institutional or financial services environment. The role requires a professional with a strong track record in managing institutional capital and a deep understanding of multiple asset classes, including private equity, fixed income, equities, emerging markets, real estate, and alternatives. The ideal candidate will have a robust network of relationships with global and regional asset managers, experience in developing investment policies and governance structures, and a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing investment teams. Strong commercial judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with regulatory and investment requirements are also essential. While not mandatory, experience in the GCC or Middle East region is preferred, and international investment experience is highly valued.
