Vice President, M&A, Investment Banking

The Company is in search of a Vice President for M&A within its investment banking division. The successful candidate will be a key player in the identification and execution of strategic opportunities, working closely with senior management and coverage teams. This hands-on role involves taking transactions from the initial idea stage to completion, with a focus on M&A activities such as acquisitions, disposals, mergers, JVs, and strategic investments. The ideal candidate will be a technically strong M&A banker, adept at transaction execution, and possess the commercial judgment to identify opportunities within existing client relationships. The role also offers the chance to engage with ECM mandates and requires the ability to build and review detailed financial models, lead valuation analysis, and prepare high-quality transaction materials. Applicants for the Vice President – M&A position at the company should have 6-10 years' of investment banking experience, with a strong background in M&A execution and a proven track record across the full transaction lifecycle. Excellent financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills are essential, as is experience with mid-market and/or large-cap transactions. A background in the GCC region is highly advantageous. The role demands a professional who can take a leading role in the day-to-day execution of transactions, coordinate with internal and external parties, and support senior bankers in client discussions. The candidate should also be capable of identifying and developing M&A opportunities from the company's various banking sectors and be prepared to take increasing ownership of client interactions and transaction workstreams.
