Senior Legal Counsel

The Company is in search of a Senior Legal Counsel to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of legal matters related to financial transactions, providing strategic legal advice, and ensuring the company's activities are in compliance with relevant regulations. This role involves handling the documentation of transaction agreements, managing external legal counsel, and partnering with business units to identify and resolve legal issues. The Senior Legal Counsel will also be involved in governance forums and is expected to have a strong understanding of financial regulations and legal theories. Applicants for the Senior Legal Counsel position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree or above, with more than 7 years' of experience in legal practice, particularly in the areas of financial transactions, corporate banking, and global markets. A valid qualification for legal practice in Japan, such as Bengoshi, is required, and a professional level of Japanese language proficiency is essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in top-tier law firms or financial institutions, possess strong technical legal skills, and be adept at providing legal guidance on complex matters. A legal qualification in a foreign country is a plus.
