Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Formulations Business

The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for its Formulations Business. The successful candidate will be tasked with defining and executing the business's overall strategy, driving sustainable growth, and leading business transformation initiatives. This pivotal role demands an exceptional leader with a strong blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and execution excellence. The CEO will be responsible for developing and executing the long-term strategic roadmap, driving profitable business growth, and strengthening the product portfolio through innovation and strategic investments. Additionally, the role involves providing strategic leadership across various functions, building a high-performing leadership team, and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. The ideal candidate should have over 20 years of progressive leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record in leading a formulations business and full P&L responsibility. Key responsibilities for the CEO include identifying new business opportunities, partnerships, and growth platforms, as well as establishing governance frameworks and performance management systems. The role also requires close partnership with the Promoters and Board to align business priorities with the overall group vision and representing the organization with various stakeholders. Candidates with a background in specialty pharmaceuticals, complex generics, branded generics, CDMO, biologics, and those from innovation-driven pharmaceutical businesses, are particularly suited for this position.
