The Company is seeking an inaugural Dean for its Division of Humanities, Social, and Management Sciences. This pivotal role is focused on the intersection of these disciplines with artificial intelligence, particularly in the areas of decision-making, work, governance, and the social fabric. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and leading the division, with a strong emphasis on building an academic and research culture that is deeply integrated with the AI mission. The Dean will be expected to define and cultivate this culture, which values teaching as a primary duty, evaluates research on intellectual merit and scientific impact, and places faculty at the core of the institution. Applicants for the Dean position should be prepared to take on a leadership role that involves both academic and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a background in economics, psychology, public policy, organizational behavior, ethics, or innovation management, and a clear vision for how these fields relate to the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence.
