The Company is seeking a Senior Engineer, AVP to join their team. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and optimizing highly scalable, resilient, and cloud-native microservices using Java and Spring Boot. This role demands a professional with a proven track record in building high-performance Java microservices, optimizing enterprise-grade distributed systems, and a strong focus on performance across application and database layers. The Senior Engineer will be instrumental in driving performance engineering initiatives, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring systems can scale efficiently to meet business demands. Additionally, the role involves active participation in technology modernization, including cloud migration and the adoption of modern data solutions. Applicants must have a minimum of 9 years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a core expertise in Java technologies and microservices. The role requires deep proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures, as well as strong experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases. The ideal candidate will also have a background in Agile/Scrum environments, containerization, orchestration technologies, and experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud. Desirable skills include knowledge of observability platforms, SRE practices, and experience with AI tools. The Senior Engineer will be expected to provide technical guidance, mentor team members, and contribute to architectural decisions that align with the company's technology goals.
