This role involves designing and executing testing frameworks, investigating defects, and implementing quality assurance practices that align with business and delivery objectives. The Lead QA Automation Engineer will also be instrumental in driving the adoption of best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of QA methodologies, and partnering with various teams to elevate QA standards. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with at least 10 years' of hands-on experience in test automation. Strong proficiency in Java or Python, experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, REST Assured, and Cucumber BDD, and a solid understanding of core programming concepts are essential. The role requires experience in integration testing, version control systems, CI/CD tools, and a background in Agile or Scrum environments. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environment. Experience with AI tools for enhancing productivity and a proven track record of responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs are also key requirements.
