The Company is seeking a Head of High School (HHS) to lead its academic and residential programs for students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. The HHS will be responsible for providing vision, strategic direction, and leadership that aligns with the institution's mission and long-term goals. This role involves supervising and developing the high school leadership team, cultivating a culture of academic excellence and student agency, and being a visible and engaged presence in the school community. The ideal candidate will have a significant background in academic or divisional leadership, exceptional communication and collaboration skills, and a strong commitment to understanding and supporting the needs of students with learning differences. Applicants for the HHS position at the company should have a proven track record of leading with vision, sound judgment, and integrity, preferably in an independent school or specialized educational setting. The role requires a leader who is relational, collaborative, strategic, and reflective, with a deep understanding of dyslexia and language-based learning differences. The HHS will be expected to have proficiency in using data, technology, and organizational systems to enhance student outcomes and to be adept at developing faculty and instructional leaders. An advanced degree in education or a related field is preferred, and the candidate should be growth-minded, approachable, and trustworthy.
