Interim Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The Company is in need of an Interim Chief Operating Officer to take on a temporary/contract role with a focus on providing leadership in finance, operations, administration, and organizational initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the organization's financial, operational, and administrative functions, supporting budgeting, financial reporting, and organizational planning. This role also involves providing leadership on business processes, risk management, and compliance activities, as well as partnering with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and operational priorities. The Interim COO will be expected to manage cross-functional projects, support organizational change efforts, and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective operations. Applicants for the Interim Chief Operating Officer position at the company should have extensive senior leadership experience in the nonprofit sector, with a strong preference for those holding an MBA, CPA, or similar advanced credentials. Experience in overseeing finance and operational functions is required, and familiarity with nonprofit financial systems is also preferred.
