The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief Financial Officer (DCFO) to join their team. The DCFO will serve as a senior executive leader within the Finance Division, providing strategic financial leadership and fiduciary oversight. This role is pivotal in overseeing major finance sub-functions, leading cross-functional initiatives to enhance financial management, and supporting the Chief Financial Officer in advancing the organization's financial strategy and governance. The successful candidate will be responsible for executive financial leadership, oversight of assigned finance functions, financial strategy, planning, and analysis, as well as internal controls, compliance, and risk management. Additionally, the DCFO will be involved in budget and financial management, organizational leadership, and workforce development, and will be expected to engage in stakeholder communication and represent the organization in financial discussions. Applicants for the DCFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 8 years' of financial management experience, including leadership responsibility. The role requires advanced knowledge of public-sector finance, accounting, budgeting, and financial planning, as well as the ability to evaluate complex financial information and support executive decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a background in governmental accounting principles, public-sector budgeting, and capital finance practices, and be skilled in leading and overseeing complex finance functions. Strong leadership, organizational development, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to uphold high standards of integrity, accountability, and professionalism. Experience in public-sector, transportation, or transit agency financial management is a plus.
