Assistant Vice President, Finance & Administration

The Company is seeking a Controller to serve as its senior accounting and financial reporting leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for the integrity of the company's financial records, internal controls, and monthly and annual financial close processes. This role requires a technically strong individual with a minimum of 7-10 years' experience in accounting, finance, audit, or controllership, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. The Controller will lead the accounting team, oversee financial operations, and ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant accounting standards. Experience in a complex, mission-driven organization is preferred, and a CPA is strongly desired. Key responsibilities for the Controller include financial accounting, reporting, and close, as well as leadership and team management. The role also involves cash management and treasury support, budget preparation, and financial planning support. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of internal controls, be adept at problem-solving, and have the ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly. The Controller will work closely with the CFO and other senior leaders, and must be committed to the company's mission and community, with a focus on continuous improvement and a collaborative, service-oriented approach.
