Executive Director

The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its mission of ending homelessness for families and individuals. The successful candidate will be the chief executive and strategic leader, responsible for advancing the organization's mission, guiding its strategy, and ensuring the sound management of its people and resources. This role involves strengthening financial sustainability, developing a diversified fundraising program, and supporting program quality. The Executive Director will also serve as the principal spokesperson, enhancing the organization's visibility and influence in the community. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to the belief that every person deserves a safe and stable home, significant leadership experience in a complex nonprofit or mission-driven environment, and a proven track record in fundraising and relationship development. Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company should have at least 5-7 years' of director-level or executive experience, preferably within a nonprofit organization or related field. The role requires a leader with a collaborative approach to people, the ability to guide difficult conversations, and a commitment to investing in the professional growth of the staff. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors, so experience in engaging Board members in philanthropy and a strong understanding of nonprofit governance are essential.
