Vice President, Tax

The Company is in search of a Vice President, Tax to establish and lead its global tax function. This strategic and hands-on role involves transitioning key tax responsibilities from external providers to an internal center of excellence, with a focus on global tax planning, compliance, reporting, provision, transfer pricing, indirect tax, and risk management. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the company's growth, acquisition strategy, and global expansion, and will also provide oversight for select treasury activities. Key responsibilities include building and developing a high-performing tax organization, establishing governance and reporting frameworks, and ensuring compliance with global tax regulations. The role requires a seasoned tax executive with a strong background in corporate tax, international tax, and M&A, and a proven ability to operate within a complex, private equity-backed SaaS organization. Applicants for the Vice President, Tax position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a CPA and/or Master's in Taxation strongly preferred. A minimum of 12 years' of progressive tax experience, including leadership roles, is required, along with a deep expertise in various tax areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in a SaaS, software, or technology business model, and a background in private equity. Leadership competencies such as strategic and operational leadership, team building, and strong business acumen are essential. The role demands an individual with excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, who can act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and is adept at driving change and transformation.
