Group Vice President, Global Commercial Merchandising
About the Role

The Company is seeking a Group VP for Global Commercial Merchandising to take on a pivotal role in defining and owning the commercial direction of the brand on a global scale. This is a unique opportunity to build the function from the ground up, setting the standards for assortment, pricing, and trading strategy across all channels and markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, build, and continuous development of global commercial merchandising, establishing it as a strategically essential capability. This includes defining the global merchandising operating model, owning the global commercial performance view, and setting commercial targets that contribute to the company's P&L. The role also involves co-owning the global pricing strategy, leading the global assortment strategy, and aligning the global trading calendar to maximize full-price sell-through. To excel in this role, candidates should have a minimum of 10 years' of senior leadership experience in merchandising, trading, or commercial planning within fashion, footwear, or consumer goods retail, with a proven track record of driving commercial KPIs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of end-to-end commercial processes, strong P&L ownership experience, and the ability to make data-driven decisions. They should be adept at building and leading high-performing commercial teams, and have the credibility to align stakeholders in a multi-market organization. The role requires a leader who can create structure, shape the commercial strategy, and influence at an executive level, all while being ready to take on the challenge of a global brand.
