The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join its Executive Leadership Team. The COO will be a key partner in ensuring that all operational systems and processes are in line with the academic mission, with a focus on creating an environment where students can thrive. This role is not about maintaining the status quo; the ideal candidate will be a builder and change leader, bringing a disciplined business approach to support the organization's goals. The COO will lead a diverse portfolio of critical functions, including HR, finance, IT, and marketing, and will be responsible for building and maintaining systems and cultures that are efficient, innovative, and aligned with the company's mission and values. Candidates for the COO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of experience in operations, finance, or business management, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams. The role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to see the impact of operational decisions on the mission and sustainability of the organization. The successful candidate will be a champion of equity and inclusion, with strong people leadership and coaching skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement and best practices. A bachelor's degree is required, and a master's degree is preferred. The COO will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and for driving the company's efforts to compete for talent, students, and resources in a competitive education market.
