Head of Accounting

The Company is seeking a Head of Accounting to take on a pivotal role in the financial and organizational development of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial accounting of several entities, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial statements with German GAAP. This role involves the management and development of the accounting team, the establishment of clear financial structures and quality standards, and the leading of transformation and change projects to modernize and harmonize financial processes. The Head of Accounting will also be a key player in the digitalization of finance processes, particularly in the areas of workflow management, invoice approvals, and automation, and will serve as a central point of contact for various stakeholders, including the CFO, auditors, and tax advisors. Applicants for the Head of Accounting position at the company should have a strong educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a focus on German GAAP. A solid professional experience in accounting, leadership skills, and a proven track record in digitalization and change projects are essential. The role requires a candidate with very good knowledge of German GAAP, solid experience with DATEV, and a confident handling of ERP systems and interfaces.
