President

The Company is seeking a President to serve as the chief executive of its Foundation, which is dedicated to securing and stewarding private philanthropic support that advances the mission of the University. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and implementing the philanthropic strategy, working closely with the Chancellor and the Foundation Board to engage with the University's most significant donors. This role is pivotal in leading the Foundation's efforts to support the University's teaching, scholarship, and community engagement, and will involve a comprehensive approach to donor relations, fundraising, and strategic partnerships. The President will also be tasked with providing leadership to the Foundation's senior team, overseeing operational and financial management, and ensuring the organization's alignment with the University's long-term priorities. Applicants for the President position at the company's Foundation should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in a complex nonprofit or business entity. A Master's degree is preferred, along with a background in strategic planning, organizational growth, and business and financial management. The ideal candidate will be a trusted partner, a skilled fundraiser, and a strategic connector with a philanthropic mindset. They should be highly relational, with the ability to engage and inspire others, and have a clear command of best practices in donor cultivation. Experience in a university or related foundation, as well as familiarity with the region and a strong desire to be engaged in the community, are also desirable qualifications.
