The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for Patient Care Services. The CNO will be a key member of the Executive Team, actively participating in strategic planning and implementation to enhance the organization's success. This role involves the development and implementation of divisional goals, policies, and procedures that align with the organization's mission and vision. The CNO will also be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the nursing division, including staff management, professional development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Maintaining positive relationships with the medical staff and demonstrating effective leadership throughout the organization are essential. Candidates for the CNO position must have a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an advanced degree in nursing (Master's) and a preference for a Master's in business or healthcare administration. A current RN licensure is required, with a Certified Nurse Executive (CNE) being preferred. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of healthcare management experience at a senior level and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills, and the ability to problem-solve with diplomacy and tact. The CNO will be expected to integrate the nursing division into the organization's primary functions, provide mechanisms for quality and performance improvement, and manage the division's budget effectively. Professional development and a commitment to the organization's values are also key aspects of the role.
