Head of IT

The Company is seeking a Head of IT to play a pivotal role in the strategic realignment and proactive development of the IT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a future-proof IT strategy and roadmap, with a focus on key areas such as SAP S/4HANA transformation, CRM and HR system development, and cybersecurity. The role involves ensuring stable, cost-effective, and secure IT operations, as well as leading the IT team to become a proactive partner for the business units, identifying and implementing digitalization, data, automation, and AI use cases. The Head of IT will also be tasked with managing the budget, projects, and external service providers, and must work closely with management, specialist departments, key users, and implementation partners. Applicants for the Head of IT position at the company should have several years' of experience in a senior IT role, preferably with a background in a medium-sized manufacturing environment. The role requires a leader with a strong understanding of modern IT environments, including applications, cloud computing, Microsoft, and SAP, and experience with SAP S/4HANA or ERP transformations is advantageous. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in computer science, business informatics, engineering, or a related field, and demonstrate excellent leadership, change management, and communication skills. A strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, combined with a hands-on, decisive, and pragmatic approach, is essential for this position. Fluency in German and English is also a key requirement.
